Liqui Moly Brake Fluid DOT 4 is a synthetic brake fluid based on glycol ethers, alkylene glycols, and glycol ether esters. It contains inhibitors that prevent corrosion of metallic brake components and reduce oxidation at elevated temperatures, preventing the formation of acidic decomposition products. Liqui Moly Brake Fluid DOT 4 has been specifically developed to extend the lifespan of components in hydraulic brake and clutch systems of motor vehicles. Liqui Moly Brake Fluid DOT 4 has a high wet and dry boiling point, ensuring safe braking even after absorbing some moisture during extended use. Special moisture scavengers help protect against vapor bubble formation. Liqui Moly Brake Fluid DOT 4 is also well-suited for use in ABS braking systems.
Application Area Liqui Moly Brake Fluid DOT 4 is excellently suited for use in all disc and drum brake systems, as well as clutch systems of motor vehicles requiring synthetic brake fluid.

Application Liqui Moly Brake Fluid DOT 4 can be used in all conventional brake fluid bleeding devices. Liqui Moly Brake Fluid DOT 4 is mixable and compatible with all high-quality synthetic brake fluids. However, optimal service life is only guaranteed when used without mixing. It is recommended to change the brake fluid according to the regulations of the vehicle manufacturer.
